NVIDIA releases validated Kubernetes runtime for Dynamo 1.4.2
NVIDIA AI Cluster Runtime packages Dynamo 1.4.2 with GPU driver, scheduling and monitoring components for reproducible Kubernetes deployments.
NVIDIA announced a validated Kubernetes runtime for its Dynamo distributed inference framework.
The runtime, part of the NVIDIA DSX AI Factory Platform, uses the AI Cluster Runtime (AICR) to create reproducible recipes with pinned component versions.
Dynamo 1.4.2 employs TCP for request traffic and ZMQ for KV‑cache events, supporting both a native Frontend router and a Gateway API Inference Extension (GAIE) path.
The AICR recipe includes the GPU Operator, Node Feature Discovery, Dynamic Resource Allocation driver, KAI Scheduler, NVSentinel health checks and Prometheus metrics collection.
What it means for you
The runtime simplifies building reliable inference clusters, reducing time spent on driver, scheduling and monitoring setup.
