FreeLLMBlue Planet III mantém as imperfeições na era da IA
A nova série deixa imagens imperfeitas para provar autenticidade em meio a documentários de natureza aprimorados por IA.
BBC’s latest nature series, Blue Planet III, deliberately includes imperfect shots that would normally be cut.
Executive Producer Elizabeth White said earlier cuts would have removed plankton and other details, but the team now keeps them to avoid a too‑polished look.
The series features dolphins using sea sponges to trap fish, inter‑species fish communication, and 200,000 crabs feeding in formation.
White argues that real ocean creatures are likely more remarkable than any AI‑generated imagery could capture.
The approach counters the trend of AI‑enhanced footage that can appear overly seamless and artificial.

For viewers, the decision offers a more authentic glimpse of marine life, reminding audiences that natural complexity often exceeds synthetic perfection. For AI enthusiasts, it highlights the challenge of creating believable content without over‑smoothing, underscoring the value of free, locally run models that can experiment with raw visual data.
