Moonshot AI released Kimi K3.1 Pro on 23 October 2026 via the Kimi API. The model retains 2.8 trillion total parameters and a one‑million‑token context window.
Artificial Analysis ranks K3.1 Pro at 55 points, fourth overall and just three points behind Claude Opus 5.5. The score reflects large gains in agentic tasks, coding and 3D modeling.
Pricing for the standard version is $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens, a 33 percent drop from the previous K3 rates. A Highspeed variant runs 2‑3 times faster for twice the price ($4 in, $20 out).
